For the division Engineering at Elevate Aircraft Seating in Kaiserslautern, we are looking for a skilled

Manager Electric Certification (all genders)

Your Duties – (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested):

• you lead and manage all electrical certification activities (e.g. STCs, changes, repairs) and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• you ensure the qualification, validation and certification of electronic seat components, including documentation, traceability and configuration control
• you provide technical leadership to CVEs and engineering teams and review/approve compliance-relevant deliverables
• you coordinate certification topics cross-functionally and act as key interface to customers, suppliers and authorities
• you lead technical reviews, drive continuous improvement of certification processes and mentor your team
• you take full leadership responsibility (technical & disciplinary), including resource planning, project support and innovation initiatives
• you ensure adherence to security standards (IT, infrastructure, facilities) and safeguard operational integrity

Your Qualifications:

• you hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, ideally with an aviation focus
• you bring several years of experience in engineering, including relevant exposure to aircraft seating
• you have a strong understanding of EASA Part 21J, CS standards and airworthiness requirements
• you demonstrate solid knowledge in aircraft design, systems engineering as well as system safety, environmental and human factors
• you combine strong leadership, communication and project management skills with the ability to guide teams and stakeholders
• you communicate confidently across all levels and are able to manage high-level discussions and negotiations
• you act in a solution-oriented and proactive manner, with a strong sense of ownership and customer focus
• you think strategically, drive innovation and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
• you are willing to travel as required
• German language skills are a plus if available
